Softball

Harveys Lake Little League is a chartered member of Little League International  is committed to teach the game of baseball in a fun, competitive and instructional atmosphere. We are focused on improving the ability of every player while enhancing the experience for every family. Our efforts create a passion for the game that will last a lifetime. 

 

Minors Softball

This league is generally for girls league ages 8 - 11, who are ready to learn to play kid-pitch fastpitch softball. (If your 11 year old has not played softball before, this is the place to start.) Girls only teams, kids pitch, 60 foot diamond, approximately 14-16 games. Scores and standings are kept, and games are umpired by volunteer umpires. Interleague with other City Little League teams. Complete softball attire (pants, socks and belt) required. Players get a team jersey and cap/visor to keep and are required to wear cleats and to have a glove.

Harveys Lake has a proud tradition of great softball teams and love this division to start teaching softball at it core. We are always looking to add more girls to a fantastic program that builds the girls to love the game, build there skills, and have tons of fun.

This Division does submit a team to the District 31 All-Stars in which we compete with some of the areas best upcoming players. Harveys Lake has a great tradition of representing well and playing tough towards a district title every year.

Majors Softball

The league is for girls ages 11 and 12, (with a very limited number of 10 year old players). Girls only teams, kids pitch, 60 foot diamond, approximately 16-18 games. Scores and standings are kept, and games are umpired by volunteer umpires. Interleague with other City Little League teams. Complete softball attire (pants, socks and belt) required. Players are issued a league-owned jersey, which must be returned at the end of the season, and are required to wear cleats and to have a glove.
